ENhitech Selected for Deep Tech TIPS Program to Advance Semiconductor Wastewater Reuse Technology

Innovation in UV AOP-based removal of refractory organics recognized; advancing reuse-focused technology and pilot validation

ENhitech has been selected for the Deep Tech TIPS (Tech Incubator Program for Startup), a government-backed initiative led by Korea’s Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

The selected project, titled “Semiconductor Process Wastewater Reuse Treatment Technology Using Ultraviolet (UV) Advanced Oxidation,” aims to develop advanced water treatment solutions capable of effectively removing refractory organic contaminants from semiconductor wastewater and enabling its reuse.

Deep Tech TIPS is a highly selective program that supports early-stage deep-tech companies with strong technological innovation. Participants are chosen based on comprehensive evaluations of technical excellence, market potential, and global scalability, making it one of Korea’s leading startup support programs.

ENhitech has developed UV Advanced Oxidation Process (UV AOP) technology capable of efficiently reducing hard-to-treat organic compounds. Through this program, the company plans to further advance and optimize its technology specifically for semiconductor wastewater reuse applications.

In particular, the project will focus on improving treatment efficiency under semiconductor-specific process conditions, while conducting pilot-scale validation to ensure reliability and readiness for real-world industrial deployment.

Building on its selection for Deep Tech TIPS, ENhitech aims to strengthen its core capabilities in water reuse technologies and accelerate the commercialization of solutions applicable to semiconductor and other advanced manufacturing industries.
