How It Works

UV AOP is a process that generates radicals (typically OH radicals) using ultraviolet light and oxidizers to oxidize and decompose organic contaminants in water.

Medium-pressure UV AOP uses medium-pressure lamps capable of irradiating multiple UV wavelengths to remove various organic pollutants. This enables large-capacity water treatment with fewer lamps.

Benefits

  1. Minimized footprint (approximately 70% reduction compared to low-pressure UV systems)
  2. Easy maintenance due to fewer reactors and lamps
  3. Performance verified through CFD-RED analysis and extensive field testing
  4. Superior UV intensity and broader wavelength range compared to low-pressure UV lamps
  5. Lower initial investment cost compared to low-pressure UV system
